This Weeks Life Update
I went down to Cabo a few weeks ago to celebrate the acquisition and return a favor to a buddy who got me into cryptocurrency. I told him if NEO hit $100 I would take him on a nice trip, and it hit $196. We went down for 4 days and stayed at The Cape, which was pretty amazing. We invited a few other entrepreneur friends of ours and it really is so necessary to spend time with like-minded people. Which brings me to…
Career Hack of the week
I know it’s cliché but it’s really important to surround yourself with likeminded people. People who have a growth mindset and want to grow consistently in all areas of their lives.
As you grow up, you will live in different cities and move away from groups or friends and become friends with your children’s friend’s parents and cycle through where you fit in, but you can control your personal and professional growth by making sure you align on a growth mindset.
They will teach you things that books can’t, and act as therapists who’ve actually been there done that and learned from experience.
What I’m Thinking About
Solving problems through reverse engineering and compartmentalization. The key to solving complex problems and strategizing is first working backwards from the desired outcome and second compartmentalizing the problem into smaller buckets.
I’m learning that many time people weren’t taught how to do this in college or prior. It’s one of the only things you can really learn from hands on experience in a position in which you can influencer the final outcome.
Product I’m Loving
I recently added a few new pairs of jeans to my collection. My favorite brand is Paige Denim. I’ve had a few pairs for years and they’re super durable, insanely comfortable, look and fit great and are relatively inexpensive. Highly recommend checking them out for business casual or casual casual situations.

Books, Courses, Podcasts, or Educational Resources of the week
Traction by Justin Mares and Gabriel Weinberg. Now that I’m managing Marketing at a B2B company, I’m brushing up on as much as I can. This is a killer early stage growth marketing, metrics, and analytics book.
